This series of coloured drawings are based on the same standing figure profiles as the run plaster works.

There are allusions in these works to the of the 19th century 'Jouets seditieux' and the positive-negative 'candle stick/head profile' optical trick illustrated in RH Gregory's work on perception, 'The Intelligent Eye'. However, this series of work were developed directly from the 'Run Blocks' series. By a taking a variety of angled slices through the extruded body profiles as a starting point, a range of body based vase forms were generated.
